Gubbio 2009 European A Championships

Dear race fans.... The Swiss team has settled in Gubbio and all have found the track and atmosphere just "exceptional". After a the last 4 days of training, the first two rounds of qualifying took place on Friday. As expected, the Italians are the favorites but the good electro drivers from the "north" are giving them a very hard time. The Swiss team are slowly finding there pace with Traugot leading the pace. Currently, the positions are: Traugot Schaer ... 44th Petros Diamant ... 52nd Beat Walti ... 53rd Bonetti Giovanni ... 77th Stephan Fischer ... 88th Toffels Peter ...98th Moretti Giacomo ... 105st Monica Akermann ... 109th We are all hopping to improve our results tomorrow with the cooler track temperatures.
